Ghanaian Hammers Biography

Founded by the President Abdul 13 years back, spreading the West Ham love in his quest to bring smiles to less privileged kids and the society at large.

The group has grown to a membership of nearly 500 across the 16 regions of Ghana, mainly in Accra and the Upper West Region, where its traditional support base often meets.

Through conscious efforts, we have touched lives and brought the dream of a Mark Noble Center for the kids to a reality in 2021.

We have over the years supported kids through education, clean water projects, and mentorship, which has been a core value of our inner circle as a fan base.

In 2023, through our initiatives to help curb teenage pregnancy and school dropout, we donated football materials like

Kits, footballs, cones, bibs, etc. to Okyeman Girls Football Academy, whose mission is to help solve teenage pregnancy and other social pressure among girls aged 9-15 years.

The Ghanaian Hammers is now massive beyond its borders, especially in the UK, with the efforts of its internal directors, namely Ashley, Kevin, and Lawrence, who are spreading the various works of the Ghanaian Hammers internationally.

The 2023/24 season has seen our works appreciated by the club, where our flag is now permanently hanged inside the London Stadium.

Ashley, Kevin, and Lawrence have been traveling with our flag across the game centers on match days where the likes of the club legend Carlton Cole meet us to taste our flag and merchandise, and he applauds our works for being behind the club for all these years.

The vision, however, is to bring light and change in Ghanaian societies and beyond through our West Ham fan base.
